On September 1, 1941, Jews had to begin wearing a large yellow Star of David on their outer clothing to identify who they were. During this current horrendous presidential campaign, Donald Trump has suggested that some populations of people be marked similarly. Have we not learned anything? Will history repeat itself right here on U.S. soil? We have the power to stand up and speak out. Read the links below, read my book, and stop this madness!
Below is a list of events that occurred in WWII. WWII began in 1939, the year the U.S. proclaimed neutrality even though it was widely known in the U.S. that Jews were being slaughtered in Germany and Poland. The first gassing at Auschwitz was 75 years ago today, and 72 years ago today, Anne Frank was arrested and sent to Auschwitz, less than six months before the liberation of that concentration camp. On Sept. 2, 1945, Japan surrendered and WWII worldwide was finally over.

I had a sweet email with a young teen named Ari from Salt Lake City. His grandma bought The Soldier, the Avatar, and the Holocaust for him. I invited him to write a review based on his Jewish twelve-year-old perspective. I look forward to receiving it, and I invite all readers to submit a review as well. Please add your review to the book’s Amazon site at here.
The pre-publication sale campaign of The Soldier, the Avatar, and the Holocaust: WWII Germany, Jan.-May, 1945 has concluded and I’m deeply grateful for the folks who bought my book. Over 100 books were sold, two ads in Jewish journals were purchased, and a lovely article by Lori Aron of the Intermountain Jewish News was written! Thank you, everyone! You may still – and always – order the book at my website if you would like a personally autographed copy and a free Reader’s Guide.
Remember….and tell.
