Strait Knot Productions
fully engaging lesbians in vibrant community

The mission of Strait Knot Productions is to engage lesbians in participation in the arts, enhance lesbian participation in education and create strong community support.

Strait Knot Productions is the creation of Dr. Ronni Sanlo and Dr. Kelly Watson. Kelly was the co-founder of women’s recovery and outpatient centers in Arizona and worked with the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors to achieve mental health treatment parity in insurance coverage. Kelly earned a bachelors and a doctorate from UCLA where she also graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry. She worked in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field to ensure that women’s issues were addressed and remains active in the recovery community in both Palm Springs and Sequim, Washington. Kelly’s passion for production was ignited when she became the executive producer of the award-winning documentary Letter to Anita and the film Passionate Pursuits of Angela Bowen.
